About Arab Peace Group

The Arab Peace Group was established in Jordan under the Jordanian Associations Law as an international regional association. The idea of establishing the group was launched in Jordan at the initiative of Arab thinkers and politicians from most Arab countries, emphasizing the dire need that this group represents in light of the conflicts, wars and conflicts that our Arab countries are suffering from, which have exhausted and deplete the capabilities of the Arab nation and hinder its prosperity and development.

As armed conflicts and internal and external wars are sweeping the countries of the Arab region; Whereas local sources, references, and initiatives are insufficient to carry out the tasks necessary to build and sustain peace there; Based on a high sense of responsibility for this sacred and noble mission, a group of personalities with previous political experience and practice, in addition to their cultural and intellectual role, and their activity in many Arab and international fields, took the initiative to think about establishing the “Arab Peace Group” to spread the culture of peace and carry out missions. Honest mediation between the conflicting Arab parties, through dialogue to reach peaceful settlements and political understandings, through proposals and initiatives that complement, complement and support the role of the official authorities to carry out their political, legal, moral and humanitarian duty. Bodies Group

The General Assembly

The highest body and consists of the founding figures who attended or agreed to join the group.

The Executive Council

Consists of 11 members represents the group and manages its work by its bylaws. Its term is 3 years. It elects the president, and 3 of his deputies, and the Secretary-General distributes responsibilities among its members and holds an annual general meeting of the General Assembly.
